Country: Malaysia

Salary Range: 10000-11000

Experience (Min): 5-6 years

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance management, with specific experience in quality and safety.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and Malaysian safety regulations (e.g., OSHA 1994).
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certifications, preferably recognized in Malaysia. Green Book certification from DOSH is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with an understanding of Malaysian workplace communication norms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

    Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's QMS in accordance with relevant Malaysian and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Malaysian regulatory bodies like the Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM).
  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage document control processes, ensuring all quality-related documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Oversee the handling of non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs) and report on trends and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate management review meetings related to quality performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Stay abreast of changes in quality standards and Malaysian regulations.
    Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Compliance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's OSH program in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and its related regulations in Malaysia.
  • Ensure compliance with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace, adhering to Malaysian guidelines.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs for employees, tailored to the Malaysian context.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions as per Malaysian legal requirements.
  • Manage safety-related documentation and records, ensuring compliance with Malaysian record-keeping requirements.
  • Monitor safety performance indicators (KPIs) and report on trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a safe working environment, considering Malaysian cultural and workplace practices.
  • Stay abreast of changes in Malaysian safety regulations and best practices.
