Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet industry standards.
Oversee and manage internal, external, and customer audits.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including ISO, GMP, and FSSC 22000.
Monitor production processes to ensure product quality meets required specifications.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness.
Manage, mentor, and develop the QA team for continuous improvement.
Drive quality improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance product consistency.
Liaise with regulatory bodies for product registrations and certifications.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to align quality and production goals.
Provide technical support and manage customer audits to ensure satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all safety and quality requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food or flavors industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of QMS, GMP, ISO standards, HACCP, and other relevant quality regulations.
Experience with FSSC 22000 or similar food safety management systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence others.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
