Quality Control Manager
Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control strategies and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and manage the quality control team to ensure effective implementation of quality control programs.
- Establish quality control processes and procedures to monitor and measure product and process performance.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Analyze and review product and process data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning to address quality issues and prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality control systems and processes.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction to ensure quality requirements are met or exceeded.
- Manage supplier quality management activities, including supplier evaluation and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems and tools, such as ISO 9001.
- Experience in conducting quality audits and inspections.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of statistical quality control methods and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
