Design and execute quality control tests and inspections to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective action.
Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement inspection plans, sampling procedures, and quality control checkpoints.
Monitor customer feedback, complaints, and returns to identify areas for improvement and prevent recurrence of issues.
Collaborate with customer support teams to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Perform all kinds of inspection activities (e.g. receiving, in-process, final, FAI inspection).
Perform sorting/screening whenever necessary.
Perform preventive maintenance for measurement equipment as necessary.
Support calibration and compile inspection report for all kinds of inspection activities including First Article (FAIR), Mass.
Attend scheduled training whenever necessary and communicate with all areas of operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, such as mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
2-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment, or a related field.
Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ISO 9001 standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions to improve product quality and process efficiency.
Good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
