Quality Control Executive

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document QC testing of raw materials, in process materials, and finished culture media products according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze QC data, indetify trends and report any deviations from specifications.
• Investigate and resolve any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards. Implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and real time records of quality control tests and results. Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of quality procedures and documentation.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality standards.
• Ensure that equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule. Identify and report any equipment issues that may affect quality control testing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement. Implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce error
• Train production personnel on quality control procedures.
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to product quality. Implement measures to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw materials and components supplied by vendors. Work with vendors to address any quality issues.
• Any duties assigned by management.

Qualification:

• At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory or equivalent.
• Experience in conducting microbiological and sterility testing.
• Has experience with ISO 13485 will be an added advantage
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
• Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Must be proficient in both written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Good presentation skill, interpersonal skill
• At least 1-2 years working experience in laboratory environment
