Responsible to perform daily quality checking of raw materials, in-process product and finished goods for quality, durability, food safety and standard product specifications.
Back trace in-house problems with product quality or performance by investigating all parts of the production process.
Investigate and resolve quality issues or customer complaints.
Ensure products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
Develop and implement quality control procedures.
Document quality assurance reports, complete quality assurance audits or any QC documents.
Access quality assurance strategies periodically to determine best practice and improvement.
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials and finished goods.
Train and manage the QC team.
Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
Prepare quality reports and coordinate audits.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Food Science, Halal Management or equivalent.
Willing to work independently with effective problem-solving skills.
Strong background of Quality Control, Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
Knowledge of HALAL, GMP, ISO 22000 standards will be an added advantage.
