QAQC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction QA/QC to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects, playing a vital part in the success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects
• Act as a centralized QAQC for multiple projects delivery
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner, proposing corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality goals are met
• Document quality-related data and maintain detailed records of inspections and test results
• Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in construction quality control

What we're looking for

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a construction QA/QC role, preferably in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality control techniques
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and resolve quality issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
