QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

About the role

As the Quality Assurance Manager at AIK CHEONG COFFEE ROASTER SDN BHD, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality control processes across our food processing operations. This is a full-time position based in Cheng Melaka. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing robust quality assurance systems and procedures to monitor and maintain product quality
• Overseeing quality control testing and inspections throughout the production lifecycle
• Identifying and addressing quality issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborating with the production team to optimise processes and procedures for greater efficiency and quality
• Analysing quality data and providing detailed reports to management
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards
• Leading and mentoring the quality assurance team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the manufacturing or food production industry
• Thorough understanding of quality management systems, quality control techniques and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing quality assurance teams
• Degree in a relevant field such as food science, engineering or quality management
