What will you be doing?
- Assisting in Implementation of Food Safety Management System:
- Support in implementing and maintaining food safety management systems.
- Participate in internal and external food safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating food safety policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on food safety practices and protocols.
Incoming Inspection:
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials for compliance with quality specifications and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including any deviations or nonconformities.
- Communicate inspection findings to suppliers and coordinate with procurement and production teams to address any issues.
Microbiological Testing:
- Perform routine microbiological testing of water samples.
- Ensure all microbiological tests are conducted according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Document and report test results promptly, highlighting any deviations from acceptable limits.
- Identify and segregate nonconforming products during production and post-production stages.
- Investigate the root causes of nonconformities, working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of nonconforming products, including details of investigations and actions taken.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Receive, document, and investigate customer complaints related to product quality and safety.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., production, logistics, R&D) to identify the root cause of complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate findings and resolutions to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a database of customer complaints and track trends to identify areas for improvement.
Internal and External Audits:
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in external audits conducted by regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and customers.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary documentation and evidence for audits.
- Address audit findings by implementing corrective actions and ensuring timely closure of nonconformities.
- Maintain records of audit results and follow-up actions.
Other QA Roles:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and initiatives.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance procedures, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance practices.
