QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE

Job Responsibilities:

1. To lead and manage the QA & QC team and enhance work effectiveness by setting department goals and targets.
2. To perform quality of product/process related research, statistics, investigation & analysis to meet requirements with continuous improvement.
3. Be diligent and provide timely response to customer’s queries and quality claims.
4. To manage customer complaints, corrective & preventive action programs.
5. To set up, implement and review QA system to ensure products conformance to quality standard and statutory requirements.
6. To initiate and coordinate preventive measures through review and analysis of complaint/internal rejection.
7. To conduct investigation on all quality issues related to raw materials, work-in-progress & finished products.
8. To provide required training to workers to ensure their QC knowledge and skills are sufficient to achieve continually improving and time to time changing needs.
9. To initiate and contribute on continual improvement of the work process.
10. To monitor and ensure all QA/QC inspection activities are well-managed and executed on time.
11. To ensure QA/QC reports are promptly updated and submitted on time to management.
12. To issue internal non-conformance form if the procedure or specification not followed.

Qualification and Requirement:

1. Degree in Forestry/Wood Technology or Business Studies or Tertiary Education with Degree from recognized college.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
3. Required languages (spoken & written): Bahasa Malaysia & English is a must. If know Japanese language is an added advantage.
4. Display strong leadership quality and decision making skills.
5. Good knowledge and hands-on experience in internal and external quality management system.
6. Well-versed in ISO9001 standard. Knowledge in ISO14001 is an added advantage.
7. Experience in wood industry is an added advantage.
8. Self-motivated and strong in problem solving & analytical skills.
9. Aggressive with positive thinking attitude and strong with interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of people.
10. Good knowledge in computer literacy e.g. MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Office.
