About the role

The QA Engineer will assist the Manager in overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role involves developing and implementing QA strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Set up operational quality function in the organization.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of QA activities and results.
• Responsible and manage Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001) document control to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Liaise with external providers for calibration, laboratory equipment maintenance, and other quality-related services.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with customers.
• Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Thorough understanding of quality management principles, tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
• Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Tertiary qualification in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficient in ISO 9001:2015 is a must; knowledge in ISO14001:2018 and ISO 45001:2015 is an added advantage.
• Preferable candidate able to understand Chinese as need to communicate with China.
• Must be able work in Sendayan, Seremban.
