Undertake tasks related to safety and airworthiness requirements. Report status and file reports on assigned tasks to the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM).
Perform audits and surveillance on HSSB CAMO and AMO activities to ensure compliance with requirements, procedures, and standards so that the quality of the product is maintained in an airworthiness state. Raise reports and issue NCR to Section Heads for corrective and remedial actions to be accomplished within the agreed timeframe.
Conduct quality audits inclusive of verification of corrective and preventive actions taken by responsible Section Heads on recent quality audit reports and ‘Open’ NCRs. Provide feedback to QAM.
Liaise with HSSB Flight Operations, CAMO, and AMO on matters relating to compliance with airworthiness requirements.
Carry out investigations of any incident/accident involving aircraft maintained/operated by HSSB. Discuss and file reports on adverse findings and observations to QAM. Monitor and review corrective and preventive actions taken to prevent a recurrence. If feedback is unsatisfactory, inform QAM for further action.
Review and investigate Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MOR) raised by either HSSB CAMO, AMO, or Flight Operations. Liaise with QAM so that the CAAM is informed on details of the MOR within the stipulated time limit. Submit reports to QAM for approval before providing a copy to the Chief of Departments and CAAM.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by superior.
Job Requirements:
Has sound knowledge of CAAM regulations related to Part 145 and Part M.
Good command of the English language supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with the team.
Good attention to detail with strong analytical thinking.
Good computer skills – Microsoft Office and other office software. Skills in aviation-related software are an added advantage.
Clear and confident communicator, capable of providing regular feedback based on facts.
Able to cope with pressure and work towards tight deadlines.
