Quality Assurance Engineer

Note: This is a remote work position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
• Design and develop manual test cases.
• Write automated integration and e2e tests.
• Improve the process of continuous automatic testing.
• Create and maintain test documentation.
• Perform testing across a range of areas - Front end/UI, database, API, performance, regression & smoke testing.
• Other related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years’ experience working in a QA Engineer position.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with both black box and white box testing.
• Hands-on experience with a front-end testing tool, specifically with Cypress.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with testing desktop, mobile, and cloud applications.
• Working knowledge of Git version control system.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Creating and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test suites to ensure that the testing is comprehensive and covers all requirements.
• Executing test cases (automated or manual) and analyzing the results to identify any defects or issues.
• Documenting and tracking defects and issues.
• Collaborating with software engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Helping to identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Linux operating system and bash is a plus.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
