Quality Assurance Director

Business Nature: Semiconductor Equipment

Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.15pm

Working Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a global QA team to achieve performance and quality benchmarks.
• Develop & implement global quality assurance strategies and policies.
• Oversee and manage quality assurance operations across entities within the business unit.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Provide guidance and support to achieve quality performance goals.
• Align QA objectives with the Company's goals and objectives.
• Ensure consistency in quality standards and practices at all sites.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure QMS effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO.
• Lead the response to customer quality concerns and issues promptly and effectively.

• Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• At least 10-15 years of working experience in a related field at a managerial position.
• Proven experience managing quality assurance operations across multiple global sites (MUST).
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
• Experience with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of machine manufacturing processes and semiconductor processes deemed as an added advantage.
• Possess good leadership, project management experience, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to travel as required (to other countries).
