The Quality Assurance & Control Lead is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance and control processes within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing quality strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of product quality. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.

WHAT'S THE JOB ABOUT?

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies to ensure that all products meet or exceed company and industry standards.
  2. Regularly review and update quality control processes to stay aligned with best practices and evolving regulatory requirements.
  3. Identify and analyze quality trends and issues, leading initiatives to drive continuous improvement in processes, products, and services.
  4. Utilize data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  5. Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  6. Prepare for and manage audits, ensuring that all quality documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects compliance.
  7. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing quality assurance team by providing guidance, training, and support.
  8. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages team members to contribute ideas and take ownership of quality initiatives.
  9. Streamline and standardize quality control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce error rates.
  10. Implement advanced quality management tools and technologies to improve testing and inspection processes.
  11. Address and resolve quality-related customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  12. Utilize customer feedback to drive quality improvements and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  13. Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and other relevant departments to ensure quality considerations are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
  14. Clearly communicate quality standards and expectations to all stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence.
  15. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, providing regular reports to senior management.
  16. Use quality metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  17. Identify potential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on product quality and operational effectiveness.
  18. Implement risk assessment protocols to proactively address potential quality issues before they escalate.

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance or control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
  4. Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
