QC Technician (CMM)

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct inspections at incoming, setup, in-process, and outgoing stages to ensure adherence to quality standards.
2. Generate comprehensive reports detailing completed inspections, including identified issues and corrective actions taken.
3. Ensure strict compliance with established quality standards throughout the production process.
4. Hold the responsibility and authority to halt the processing or delivery of non-conforming materials, work-in-progress, or finished goods.
5. Monitor the quality of parts, work-in-progress, and finished products, and provide periodic reports on quality trends to management.
6. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement necessary corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
7. Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all measuring equipment used in the quality control process.
8. Undertake additional tasks related to quality control as directed by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in operating CMM Machines, particularly the Hexagon Explorer with pc-dmis software.
2. Know how to do programming and analyze the 2D drawing.
3. Excellent attendance record.
4. Proficiency in understanding basic Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
5. Fundamental skills in mathematics and computer literacy.
