QC Technician (CMM)
Job description
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct inspections at incoming, setup, in-process, and outgoing stages to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing completed inspections, including identified issues and corrective actions taken.
- Ensure strict compliance with established quality standards throughout the production process.
- Hold the responsibility and authority to halt the processing or delivery of non-conforming materials, work-in-progress, or finished goods.
- Monitor the quality of parts, work-in-progress, and finished products, and provide periodic reports on quality trends to management.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement necessary corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all measuring equipment used in the quality control process.
- Undertake additional tasks related to quality control as directed by superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in operating CMM Machines, particularly the Hexagon Explorer with pc-dmis software.
- Know how to do programming and analyze the 2D drawing.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Proficiency in understanding basic Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
- Fundamental skills in mathematics and computer literacy.
