QC Lab Technician

We are looking for a QC Technician to further strengthen our Quality department.

As a QC Lab Technician, you will need to execute daily QC lab activities in order to test if quality objectives are met.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory analysis on samples of incoming raw materials, in-process and finished products as per required.
• Report analysis results.
• Prepare chemicals for analysis and maintain proper labeling.
• Ensure records are updated and maintained.
• Report to the QC Engineer/Team Lead.
• Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment.
• Ensure that overall tasks assigned are carried out professionally, ethically, and in a timely manner.
• Perform any other quality-control related tasks assigned by your superior.

Who are we looking for?

You'll succeed if:

• You possess at least a Diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 - 2 years of working experience in the chemical, food industry, or oleochemical (an advantage).
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Willing to perform shift work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to Pulau Indah, Port Klang.
