Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts for shipyard newbuild projects
Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and documentation
Ensure that all project activities and deliverables comply with applicable standards and specifications
Liaise with internal departments, clients, and regulatory bodies on quality matters
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implement corrective and preventive actions

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of continuous experience working in a shipyard environment, specifically on newbuild projects
Must have held the relevant position as QA/QC Manager for a minimum of 5 years within the shipyard industry
Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC practices in shipbuilding or heavy marine industries
Experience with classification societies and conducting audits
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
