QA Technician (Rotating Shift)

Job Description

[ENTRY LEVEL] QA Technician

[INDUSTRY] Glove Manufacturing, Supply Chain

[ROTATING SHIFT] The candidate must be able to work in rotating shifts (week 1 & 2: Morning, week 3 & 4: Night)

Responsibilities

1. QMS & Compliances
   1. To assist QMR in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of applicable quality management system and regulatory requirements.
   2. To ensure processes comply with established quality procedures and standards.
2. Staff Supervision
   1. To lead and supervise QA Inspectors to maintain and implement the company’s quality system effectively.
   2. To verify inspection reports.
3. Quality Assurance Activities
   1. To investigate quality issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
   2. To ensure sufficient equipment provided and equipment used are being maintained to prevent breakdown and within calibration validity.
   3. To ensure equipment in the inspection area is always in good condition.
   4. To perform preventive maintenance for equipment as per schedule.
   5. To comply with hygiene and safety standards in carrying out work processes by applying Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
4. Quality Control Activities
   1. To lead QA Inspector for sampling and carrying out testing & inspection for material in every stage of making products produced in 3A based on WIs in a timely manner.
   2. To lead QA Inspector to perform inspection for incoming, in-process, outgoing, and pre-shipment material that directly affects the quality of the product.
   3. To ensure the turnaround time of each inspection is met.
   4. To communicate with other departments regarding the status of inspection and issues found during daily inspection.
   5. To maintain proper records and documentation.
5. Laboratory Maintenance and Housekeeping
   1. To ensure equipment in the inspection area is always in good condition.
   2. To ensure cleanliness of the work benches, tidiness, and safety of the working area.
   3. To record and ensure temperature and humidity in the inspection area are within specification (if applicable).
   4. To perform internal verification and maintenance of equipment for inspections and measurement in IPQA Laboratory as per schedule and on a periodic basis.
6. Audits
   1. To assist QMR in the Internal and External Audit.
7. Other requirements
   1. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by reporting superior.

Qualifications

At least SPM or equivalent. Entry level. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
