Job description

Monoluxury Sdn Bhd – Genting Highlands, Pahang

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Write, implement, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and other documentation for QA/Food Safety activities.
  2. Perform receiving inspection and data collection of incoming materials on FIFO basis.
  3. Evaluate and qualify new products from suppliers not in the Approved Suppliers List.
  4. Conduct quality checks for products packed by the packhouse team.
  5. Perform check and balance for implementation of FIFO practices for goods in warehouse and finished goods.
  6. Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports by performing data review audits (packing quality, cleaning & sanitation program, maintenance records as per scheduled).
  7. Involve in the implementation and verification of Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP within the company.
  8. Perform internal and external audits to determine compliance with Food Safety/HACCP/GMP and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Liaise with government and/or certification bodies regarding Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP on operational matters at the Packhouse.
  10. Respond to non-conformance (NC) and ensure recertification is completed in a timely manner.
  11. Support the Food Safety Manager with hosting customer audits and regulatory inspections.
  12. Drive continuous improvement and quality projects at the packhouse.
  13. Assist in maintaining and delivering training in quality-related topics to packhouse workers including food safety training.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Degree in Microbiology/Food Technology/Science or equivalent.
  2. Preferably Malaysian citizen who has a Certificate of Halal Executive responsible for halal compliance of the company.
  3. Understanding of food microbiology, food safety and quality management, GMP and Halal.
  4. Knowledge of handling QA and laboratory equipment, e.g., measuring apparatus, pH/ORP meter, incubator, autoclave, etc.
  5. In-depth knowledge of Malaysia Halal System Management and Quality standards.
  6. Familiarity with Food Safety, GMP, Preventive Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Sanitation.
  7. Able to prioritize and manage work effectively.
  8. Experience in DOSH is an added advantage.
  9. Candidate must be willing to work in Genting Highland, Pahang.
