QA/QC Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

Quality Result Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Assistant Manager / Manager to join our dynamic team. As the QA/QC Assistant Manager / Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our manufacturing processes and end-products. This full-time position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance strategies and procedures
• Oversee overall factory quality system and quality activity
• Monitoring and evaluating production processes to identify and resolve quality issues
• Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Review customer feedback on quality. Determine potential nonconformity and implement corrective action and preventive action
• Ensure product delivery to customer compliance with company quality objectives and meet customer requirement
• Review the effectiveness of corrective action and preventive action
• Providing training and guidance to production teams on quality control best practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality systems and processes
• Analysing quality data and generating detailed reports to inform decision-making
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
• Make decision on their area of responsibilities
• Manage QMS, implement audits, customer complaints, supplier issues and document control.
• To ensure that quality activities performed by incumbent and subordinates (if any) fall in line with MS ISO 9001 procedures.

Job requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Proven track record of implementing successful quality control systems and processes
• Strong knowledge of QC analysis tools, quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and relevant industry regulations. Required skills / experiences in ISO 9001 : 2015
• Preferably a trained internal auditor. Well-versed in ISO 9001 standard and experienced in Quality System Audit.
• Strong technical knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies
• Excellent leadership, integration, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Relevant degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
