Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Team Management
• Manage, mentor, and lead the QA team, including QA engineers, analysts, and testers.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure skill alignment with organizational goals.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and objectives.

Quality Assurance Strategy
• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Define and enforce quality standards, test methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and other teams to define acceptance criteria.

Automation Strategy
• Develop and implement robust automation strategy for both UI and API layers.
• Design and maintain Automation frameworks using Java/Python for test scripts utilizing Selenium or equivalent for UI and Postman/Rest assured for API testing.

Test Planning & Execution
• Oversee test planning, design, execution, and reporting across multiple projects.
• Implement automated and manual testing processes to ensure thorough coverage.
• Monitor and analyze testing metrics and KPIs to measure software quality and team performance. Test suite improvement by continuous monitoring and feedback.

Process Improvement
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the QA process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve QA practices.
• Champion the use of tools and frameworks for test automation, performance testing, and bug tracking.

Collaboration & Communication
• Act as a liaison between QA, development, and product teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide clear and concise reports on QA activities, risks, and quality trends to stakeholders.
• Drive defect management and resolution processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 3+ years in a management role.
• Proven track record of managing QA teams and delivering high-quality software products.

Skills and Experience:
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman, TestRail).
• Expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Expertise in performance testing, load testing, and security testing to ensure stability and scalability of applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• PMP, ISTQB, or equivalent qualifications.
