QA Manager

SYNTIANT MALAYSIA MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD.

Responsible for incoming material, in-process quality control & outgoing quality control related activities. Supervise a team to meet group goals and drive continuous improvement among cross-functional teams for incoming material, in-process, and outgoing quality control.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Set quality metrics and develop strategies to achieve goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement procedures, processes, and methods promoting prevention techniques and continuous improvement within the organization and with external customers and suppliers.
• Evaluate new materials and qualify machines or modifications carried out in the manufacturing line that requires QA approval, ensuring that these introductions or changes have no adverse effect on product quality.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding customer complaints, quality of parts, inspection processes, and product quality problems, and follow up on corrective actions and their implementation status.
• Perform audits of management systems and operational procedures and customer audits prior to customer visits/audits throughout the organization. Report results and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Initiate defect containment activities through suspending delivery, warehousing, or production when deemed necessary.
• Identify important quality problems and work with the team for process compliance improvement.
• Provide training for subordinates and contractors in Quality Management Systems, where necessary.
• Assist the Senior QA Manager and above in overall quality assurance activities as required.
• Ensure that quality activities performed by the incumbent and subordinates fall in line with MS ISO 9001 and ISO 14001/45001 procedures.

Requirements

• Education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Science or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 5-10 years of working experience in the QC field in the semiconductor industry is required for this position.
• Skills: QC 7 Tools, SPC, FMEA.
• Special Requirement: Experience in a fast-moving high-technology manufacturing environment.
