QA & Halal Executive

Green Pot Tea is a dynamic manufacturer of Matcha Latte and creative beverage premixes with a fast, flexible service for food & beverage service providers and manufacturers world-wide. We produce, formulate, design and co-pack a variety of products at our Malaysia manufacturing facility with HACCP, GMP and Halal certifications. We offer our unique style, expertise and openness with customers, from in-house food development teams to distributors, in co-developing new products for their markets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Technology or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years experience in similar function, preferably from food manufacturing industry.
• Equipped with computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Knowledge in areas of quality and food safety such as GMP, HACCP.
• Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to work closely with Production team
• Able to respond to ad-hoc task swiftly

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Perform full documentations of Halal, HACCP/GMP, MESTI & ISO consists of Manual Procedure, SOP, Batch Record, Processing Flow, etc
• In charge of the product Halal Certification and audit.
• Assist in internal and external QA audits.
• Coordinate the food safety training for employees and ensure that proper food handling practices are followed.
• Check, inspect and approve new incoming raw material and suppliers, products, processes, responsible personnel in monitoring and maintaining HACCP/GMP, ISO, and Halal run prior packing the products
• Investigate and document any quality-related incidents or non-conformance and issue NCR.
• Monitor operations to ensure that staff follow the production SOP
• Review and analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Ensure all machines/facilities are cleaned, maintained and in operational condition
• Monitor Production team.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
