The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to internal and external quality standards. This role involves monitoring quality processes, assisting in the oversight of the Quality Assurance Department, and collaborating with other departments to achieve quality excellence. The QA Executive plays a vital role in maintaining product quality, managing QA Lab activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance and Process Monitoring:
   • Assist in overseeing the Quality Assurance Department to ensure compliance with established procedures, policies, and standards.
   • Monitor and assist In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) activities daily to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
   • Participate in activities related to resolving quality issues in production departments.
   • Monitor and follow up closely with respective departmental heads regarding product quality achievements and improvements.
2. Daily Quality Management and Communication:
   • Conduct daily QC meetings to review the quality status and departmental quality improvement action plans.
   • Communicate QA Lab and IPQC quality results to the QA Manager and relevant departments effectively and promptly.
3. QA Laboratory Supervision:
   • Supervise QA Lab staff to ensure that all tests are conducted according to established standards.
   • Ensure incoming tests are performed on time and as per the established procedures.
   • Assist in establishing and monitoring lab equipment calibration schedules based on the calibration master list.
   • Oversee all lab activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. Customer Feedback and Corrective Actions:
   • Assist in addressing customer feedback, supplier corrective action reports, non-conforming reports, and audit findings.
   • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
5. Document Control and ISO Compliance:
   • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining document control processes for efficient management of internal and external documentation.
   • Support the effective implementation and maintenance of the ISO Quality Management System.
6. Safety and Continuous Improvement:
   • Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed at all times within the QA department.
   • Contribute to continuous process improvements and upgrade section processes as required.
7. Other Responsibilities:
   • Perform any other duties assigned by the QA Manager from time to time.

Performance Metrics:

1. Timeliness and accuracy of QA Lab tests and results.
2. Effectiveness of daily QC meetings and action plans.
3. Reduction in quality issues and non-conformances.
4. Compliance with ISO Quality Management System standards.
5. Successful implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
6. Improvement in overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A diploma or degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a QA or QC role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of quality standards, ISO (QMS) systems, and document control processes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to analyze quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
6. Proficient in using QA tools and techniques.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
8. Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and quality will be an added advantage.
9. Proficiency in geometric measurements will be an added advantage.
