Managing nonconformance and Material Review Board (MRB) control.
Ensuring qualification of First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports for new suppliers, parts, tooling, and changes.
Overseeing customer quality management.
Implementing proper containment procedures to prevent defective parts from reaching the customer.
Handling Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and coordinating sample submissions to customers.
Monitoring in-process quality control and addressing non-conformance actions to prevent recurrence.
Leading 8D discussions and following up on corrective action effectiveness.
Conducting process line audits.
Collaborating with Operations and Engineering teams for continuous improvement.
Working with suppliers on improvements for New Product Introduction (NPI) parts, drawing changes, measurement method correlation, and other related issues.
Supporting adhoc activities as requested by superiors.
Qualifications
Degree in any Engineering discipline, or equivalent.
Skills: Knowledge of ISO9001 related and familiar with QC tools (SPC, 8D, FMEA, MSA) and GD&T.
Work Experience: Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in QA.
Experience in product quality or process quality management.
