QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team at Sakura Tech (M) Sdn Bhd. As a full-time position based in Tampoi Johor, this is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and end products.

What you'll be doing

• To take charge of PPAP report package of parts to be submitted to the customer.
• Understand customer quality requirements and transform the requirements to internal document.
• Participate in the corrective action process (8D), process audit (internal & external) and ISO audit.
• Documenting and reporting on quality metrics, trends, and corrective actions.
• Manage departmental-related matters, QA documents (Drawings/ECN/Insp Std).
• Involve in the company quality and environmental system.
• Collaborating closely with production, engineering, and other teams to optimize quality control measures.

What we're looking for

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field/Science discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in injection molding or manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge and trained in ISO9001 / ISO14001 / IATF 16949. 7QC Tools, 8D, SPC, Minitab, GR&R and PFMEA.
• Knowledge and skill of measuring instruments; CMM/Smart scope/Gear Tester and programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and identify root causes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
