QA ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

1. To qualify vendors for the company based on the required quality standard and specification.
2. To ensure quality inspection on incoming materials, in-process and finished goods are in full compliance with the established written SOP or quality manual.
3. To amend & update the written quality SOP/manual in accordance to the latest practice/customer requirement.
4. To handle, deal and resolve customers’ quality related complaints.
5. To work with Maintenance and Production to resolve quality problems and for continual improvement.
6. Maintain good and safe housekeeping practices in the Quality department.
7. To submit timely quality inspection/CAPA reports to management.
8. To enhance the performance and motivation level of the quality team.
9. To ensure company’s safety rules & regulations are being followed.
10. To ensure all inspection and test equipment in the factory are properly calibrated.
11. To ensure GMP practices are maintained in production areas.
12. To handle any other task assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering with 3 years quality control working experience in ISO/GMP/HACCP manufacturing environment.
2. Aggressive, results-oriented, good management, leadership, communication and inter-personal skills.
3. Need to have drive, analytical skills with good business sense to respond to customer needs in an increasingly competitive business.
4. Meticulous, positive, pro-active, assertive and able to work independently.
5. High degree of integrity, maturity and pleasant personality.
6. Ability to lead change and fulfill company targets.
7. A task-oriented person who can take pressure and work under short lead times.
