QA Engineer

About the role

Tunglip Precision Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our growing team in Batu Pahat, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our precision engineering products, playing a crucial part in maintaining our high standards and exceeding customer expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to monitor production and identify areas for improvement
• Conducting thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications
• Analysing production data and quality metrics to identify trends and root causes of defects, and proposing corrective actions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and continuously enhance our manufacturing capabilities
• Maintaining detailed quality records and documentation to support regulatory and customer requirements
• Providing training and guidance to production personnel on quality control best practices
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and emerging quality assurance techniques

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Quality Assurance or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Lean Six Sigma, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address quality issues
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 is a must, IATF16949 is a merit)
