Work you will do

With an understanding of strategic industry issues and client-specific business challenges, complemented by an extensive technology practice, Deloitte brings market-leading testing services and solutions to our clients. Cultivate an intelligent automation–based quality engineering mindset by leveraging a state-of-the-art technology tool set.

1. Design and implement test plans and test cases.
2. Troubleshoot issues in systems under test.
3. Ability to create scripts with the relevant tools.
4. Develop, manage, and execute automated UI or API functional tests.
5. Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
6. Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer.

Experience with web application testing or mobile testing.

Experience with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.).

Good understanding of and experience on any of the following:

1. Webdriverio
2. Playwright
3. Cypress
4. Karate Framework
5. SQL

Experience on API testing (Postman, JMeter).

Excellent in spoken and written communication.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

1. UI or API Test Automation (3-6 yrs. experience with Selenium Webdriver / Webdriverio / Playwright / Cypress / Karate Framework).
2. Writing and Executing Test Cases (Manual and Automated).
3. Defect Reporting and Management (JIRA etc.).
4. Experience in API Testing (Postman / JMeter).
5. Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
6. Familiarity with CI/CD Tools (Azure or AWS, Dockers).
7. Configuring and managing test environments and test data.

Good to have:

1. Experience with Continuous Integration processes.
2. Performance testing using JMeter.
3. Practical knowledge related to such tools as SpecFlow and Cucumber.
4. ISTQB Certification.
