About the role

Are you an experienced Wireman and Building Maintenance professional looking for a rewarding full-time role? PLATINUMS M&E ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a skilled PW4 Wireman and Building Maintenance expert to join our team in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan.

What you'll be doing

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance and repair work on building systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement corrective actions
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and building regulations
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate building maintenance activities
• Document all work carried out and maintain accurate records
• Maintenance of building & structure, electrical and mechanical system such as; Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation, Elevator, Escalator, Fire-Fighting installation, Hoisting, Natural Gas, PA, Sewage Pre-Treatment Plant, Grease Trap, Pump, Water Fountain, Sump Pit, Floor, Roof, Walls, Signage, Plumbing and BMS.
• Carry out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Carry out inspection, testing and maintenance using ITM checklist.
• Attend to Tenant complaints.
• Assist Supervisor in daily operations.
• Monitor and attend to contractors and subcontractors for maintenance work.
• Ensure all daily operations at construction site run smoothly and plan for manpower planning and workers work arrangement.
• Adequately plan for manpower workers planning arrangement and safekeeping of site tools, equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure the smooth progress and efficiency of the electrical works by adhering to quality control policy, in accordance with specifications standards, quality guidance, safety regulations on site and contractual obligations.
• Able to work in heavy and tough environments, hands-on, long working hours (if needed), shift work and OT.
• Able to understand AutoCAD and schematic drawings.

What we're looking for

• Qualified Wireman PW4 with a minimum 3 years' experience in building maintenance.
• At least a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Able to converse and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and building regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Good attitude and ability to obey the Company Safety SOP.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
