Job Description

Operate and maintain mainly on purified water and wastewater system, ensuring uninterrupted production and optimal efficiency. Monitor purified water and wastewater system performance, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Compliance with safety regulations and meticulous record-keeping are crucial aspects of this role. Strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operating and maintaining purified water, wastewater system and raw water supply used in the manufacturing process to ensure continuous and efficient production.
2. Monitoring purified water and wastewater system performance and parameters regularly, adjusting to achieve optimal efficiency.
3. Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and equipment failures.
4. Troubleshooting purified water and wastewater system malfunctions and performing necessary repairs promptly to minimize production disruptions.
5. Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
6. Recording and maintaining accurate logs of purified water and wastewater operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents for regulatory compliance and future reference.
7. Collaborating with other team members and departments to coordinate boiler maintenance schedules and production requirements.
8. Responding quickly to emergency situations such as leaks or pressure issues to mitigate potential hazards and prevent accidents.
9. Proactively seeking opportunities to improve purified water and wastewater operations, reduce consumption, and optimize manufacturing processes.
10. Follow and liaise with DOE/DOSH for licensing, compliance issues, and new requirement updates.
11. Any other duties which may be assigned by superior.

Qualifications

1. Education level: At least a technical certificate or diploma in Engineering discipline or relevant field.
2. Year Experience: At least 3 years of experience in purified water/wastewater operations and maintenance.
3. Capability: Strong technical knowledge of purified water/wastewater operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety consciousness.
4. Skills: Effective problem-solving, analytical abilities, attention to detail, able to work in a team environment.
5. Language: English & Malay is compulsory.
