Purchasing Officer (Construction) – Job Summary

1. We are looking for a Purchasing Officer to oversee procurement activities for construction projects. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring cost-effective, timely procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials and services.

2. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.

3. Ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and cost-saving strategies.

4. Track inventory, coordinate deliveries, and prevent material shortages.

5. Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.

6. Collaborate with project teams to meet material requirements on time.

Requirements:

• Experience in purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
