You will be coordinating the purchasing of quality products and materials while maintaining a healthy business relationship with key suppliers & vendors.
To liaise with China manufacturing office
Responsible for negotiating, compiling & processing of material purchases for the best quality & cost
Undertake to improve and monitor vendors' performance in terms of pricing, delivery, and quality.
Identify, qualify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure suitability and cost-effectiveness of purchase.
Update & maintain product data in the system
Knowledge of the importation process would be an advantage
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing/buyer position
Meticulous, resourceful, and possess effective problem-solving skills
Strong mindset to work in stressful and unstructured conditions
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Well-versed in Microsoft Office software
Knowledge on how to operate LN or Qu
Possess good communication skills
Able to converse in any Mandarin dialect would be advantageous (as the team and suppliers are mostly in China)
