Purchasing Executive

As Myra’s Purchasing Executive, you are responsible for managing and overseeing the purchasing operations of a property development company. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A keen eye for detail and a focus on quality, along with knowledge of procurement regulations and standards, is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize costs and quality of materials and services.
• Identifying and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts and purchase agreements with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitoring and tracking inventory levels of materials and supplies.
• Managing the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project needs and requirements.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure ongoing availability of materials and services.
• Analyzing purchasing trends and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably in the property development industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in purchasing and procurement management software and tools.
• Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and standards.
