Purchasing Executive

About the role

As a Purchasing Executive at Xindeco IOT Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in the company's supply chain operations. Based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, this full-time position will involve managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and other necessary supplies to support the company's manufacturing and logistics processes.

What you'll be doing

• Sourcing and vetting potential suppliers to ensure the best quality and value for the company
• Negotiating contracts and purchase orders with suppliers to secure favourable terms
• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and meet the company's procurement needs
• Tracking and analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency
• Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with the company's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Executive or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve procurement issues
• Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing business requirements
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Must be able to communicate in Mandarin.
