Job Responsibility


Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in price negotiation with suppliers - Work directly with suppliers to gather and negotiate price lists, compare offers for shipping rates and product prices.
  2. Manage Purchase Orders - Completing and maintaining all purchase orders.
  3. Oversee shipping schedules - Follow up and through all incoming shipments.
  4. Maintain purchase record - Maintain detailed paper or computerized records of purchases, including quantities ordered and received, shipping information, and costs associated with the purchase as well as updating the record.

Job Requirements


Key requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  2. Competence in using Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel.
  3. Great written and verbal skills in English and Mandarin.
  4. Candidates MUST be fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  5. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  6. Preferably Purchasing Assistant / Purchasing Coordinator in Retail industry or similar role.
  7. Candidate must be willing to work at Glenmarie, Selangor.
  8. Full-Time position(s) available.
