The Marketing Team is the voice of Wanderlust + Co, responsible for sharing our story around the world whether it is engaging with media and bloggers, retail or wholesale consumers, industry commentators or the fashion community. As the PR & Communications Executive for Wanderlust + Co, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image of the brand via various outlets – building lasting media and influencer relations, managing brand’s voice, and developing strategic plans and activations, both online and offline with the Marketing Team. You will be required to operate creatively and effectively, with the ability to leverage key moments in the fashion calendar/digital fashion space. The right candidate will be great at thinking outside the box, connecting relationships and opportunities to increase brand awareness whilst driving brand’s identity and retail revenue in the desired direction.
To excel, you should be reliable, organized and detail oriented, with a genuine interest to excel within PR/digital partnerships. Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms with a sincere interest in fashion is a must.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

- Plan and implement global public relations strategies and calendar in line with yearly marketing goals, to elevate brand identity and awareness, driving traffic to our website/stores whilst focused on yielding positive revenue returns.
- Oversee opportunities and pitch key stories via placements in both print and online media; including but not limited to interviews with our founder, collection launches, events, general campaigns, awards and thought leadership avenues.
- Understand collection stories/campaigns to plan and execute brand events, identifying key opportunities in line with marketing goals and overseeing events from end to end, from ideation and planning to on-ground execution.
- Manage media/influencer relations, working alongside Marketing Team on interactions that promote and impact the brand – actively engage, cultivate and elevate press/influencer relationships via multiple mediums.
- Work alongside Marketing Team to plan and manage budget related to PR activations and events.
- Work alongside Marketing team to ideate marketing content, ensure marketing moments are well represented and shared with our audience (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest etc) to increase visibility, engagement and brand awareness.
- Align across departments to ensure timely and strategic PR placements and activities, supporting brand campaigns, launches and marketing initiatives, leveraging on data metrics to support ad-hoc improvements and business decisions.
- Analyze and report monthly PR value, media coverage and effectiveness across all channels.

- Develop brand’s voice across all communication platforms, copywriting in line with the brand’s voice and identity – writing press release, speeches for organizational leaders, brand kit, seasonal stories, corporate newsletter and daily communication with external parties.
- Work closely with Managing Director to build executive profiling that drives corporate reputation and credibility.
- Repurpose press moments and influencer features into branded content onsite.
- Identify and execute global viral or trending moments that are relevant to brand, including social media content and PR crisis management with timely communication.
- Translate brand identity, values and assets into brand training modules for frontline team, taking part in team training activities to develop team members to embody brands ethos in day to day communication with customers.

- Manage product samples, attending to product loans and seeding in a time sensitive and effective manner.
- Assist with general development of the brand and content by conducting research and participating in internal and external discussions.
The following skills will ensure you excel in this role –
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Communications, Marketing or related fields
- 2-3 years’ experience within the social media, digital space, fashion, PR and/or content
- Excellent command of English and strong writing skills
- Independent and quick to engage problem solving skills
- Quick and strategic, plus able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced digital environment
- Be a team player with an open, honest and straight-forward style of communication
