Job Description

This program is designed to empower graduates with essential skills and hands-on experience to excel in the working landscape. Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in supporting the implementation of UEM Edgenta’s ESG roadmap and initiatives. Help track and report on progress, perform gap analysis, and support responses to key ESG matters.
2. Assist in overseeing, collating, analyzing, and providing perspective on relevant ESG data and key metrics from all parts of the business, both locally and internationally, while ensuring data integrity and maintaining effective relationships with all data owners and providers. The candidate will also support the initiative to digitalize the data collection, monitoring, and reporting processes.
3. Support the preparation of reports, presentation materials, and inputs for ESG-related documents, such as Sustainability Statements, webpages, and marketing materials. Assist in researching and drafting content on ESG best practices and industry benchmarks.
4. Assist in maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including ESG partners and regulators. Provide support in addressing sustainability-related concerns and compliance requirements.
5. Help organize ESG-related knowledge-sharing sessions, events, webinars, and training events. Support communication efforts to raise awareness on ESG topics.
6. Engage in learning and development opportunities provided by the team. Share knowledge within the department and build relevant skills to contribute effectively.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Sustainability, Business, Social Sciences, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
