Job description

Job Title: Promotion Management Assistant Manager MYSG

Location: Malaysia

The Purpose of Role:

To enable the business growth by achieving greater effectiveness and efficiency of sales operation in the areas including but not limited to on time and in full communication of trade activity, new product innovation, change in product & price information and promotion maintenance.

Team Structure:

Reporting to: Business Analyst Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and distribute a monthly bulletin that includes trade activities, product, and price information.
  2. Develop and share listing information for new product innovations and changes in Store Keeping Units (SKU).
  3. Ensure prices are maintained accurately and timely by cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate any price changes to the field sales team.
  4. Maintain the recommended list price for Brunei in the Distributor Management System (e.g., LeverEdge).
  5. Manage promotion activities and allocations in the Distributor Management System (e.g., LeverEdge).
  6. Monitor and track the utilization of promotions in Distributive Trade on a weekly and monthly basis.
  7. Maintain invoice discounts for Customer Development-led promotional packs.

Key Stakeholders:

Internal: Customer Strategy & Planning, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Regional SAP and Master Data Maintenance team.

Travel:

No travelling is required.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree holder with a strong interest in data management.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a promotion management-related role within the FMCG industry.
  3. Candidates with experience in sales distributor management, sales operations excellence, or finance are encouraged to apply.
  4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and system management. Skills in SQL, Python, and DAX scripting are a great advantage.
  5. High attention to detail and task-oriented.
  6. Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
  7. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
