Project Manager (R&D Business Group)

About the role

The Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, managing, and driving projects to successful execution and completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role demands a strong understanding of semiconductor technologies and project management principles, alongside the ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex, multi-phase projects. Projects will be guided by the BCAM-X project milestones and gates.

What you will do

1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
2. Coordinate and oversee project activities to ensure successful and timely completion.
3. Lead cross-functional teams, comprising engineers and designers, while fostering effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
4. Identify required competencies and resources, building a high-performing project team across organizations.
5. Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of financial resources and maintaining cost control.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
7. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.

What you will need

1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
2. 8-10 years of project management experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
3. Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
4. PMP/PMI or Prince2 certification is an advantage.
5. Proven experience in project management.
6. In-depth knowledge of semiconductor technology.
7. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
8. Resilient and assertive with strong leadership and team management capabilities.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
11. Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
