Project Manager (Large Scale Solar Project based in Kedah)

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale Solar Renewable Energy projects in Kedah. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project life cycle, from initial design and planning through to execution and final delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Set project timeline and monitor project deliverables, update project progress to the management team.
• To handle the whole project execution process, including pre-project planning, engineering, development and project operation.
• Coordinate and deal with all major emergencies, take charge of controlling and managing various costs, and handle subcon management.
• Prepare reports and technical documents to present solar design/ feasibility findings
• Evaluate the economic, engineering, or pragmatic feasibility of solar PV installation projects based on architectural plans on existing or new construction buildings.
• Provide technical support and project coordination
• Ensure project delivered in committed schedule and project installation declared in quality
• Prepare site visit report and BOM list
• Proceed project progressive report and weekly activity report
• To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronic).
• Candidates may need to travel outstation and work on weekend as and when required.
• Min. 5 years’ experience in any technical roles in the solar PV field. O&M background is preferable.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Able to work in a teamwork environment with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious.
• Independent and result-driven mind set.
• Fluent in English (Written & Verbal).
• Competency in Mandarin is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills (Written & Verbal)
• High level of computer literacy & competency in Google Workspace - Sheets, Docs & Slides (or Microsoft equivalent)
• Willingness to travel/relocate (if required)
• Excellent networking, leadership, negotiation, and time management skills
• 1-year contract available
• Candidate willing to work at Selambau.
