Project Manager – (HR Outsourcing)- International Business

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee and manage operations in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Contract Hosting, and Employer of Record (EOR) services, specifically for China-focused international business. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, cross-cultural communication, and expertise in managing projects across international markets. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth project execution, compliance with regulations, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement project plans for BPO, Contract Hosting, Business Visits and Inspections, Company Registration, Global Visa Services, Conference and Event Management, Financial and Taxation Agency Services, Resource Linking or Resource Connections, Headhunting, RPO, Global Talent Recruitment, Management Training, EOR services and other in China.
    • Establish project goals, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to project milestones and objectives.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and internal teams.
    • Facilitate effective communication between multinational stakeholders, ensuring cultural sensitivity and language considerations.
    • Address client needs and resolve escalations promptly to maintain strong relationships.
  3. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all projects comply with Chinese labor laws, tax regulations, and business standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to legal, financial, and operational aspects of projects.
    • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to maintain adherence to global and regional standards.
  4. Operational Oversight:
    • Manage the end-to-end implementation of EOR solutions, including onboarding, payroll management, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management.
    • Oversee BPO operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with client requirements.
    • Optimize workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and collaboration.
    • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to build expertise in BPO and EOR services.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the team.
  6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track project performance using KPIs and other metrics to ensure alignment with objectives.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and clients on project status, risks, and outcomes.
    • Leverage data analytics to drive insights and improvements.
  7. Business Development Support:
    • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and expand the company's footprint in China and other international markets.
    • Provide insights on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in BPO, Contract Hosting, or EOR services.
  • Proven experience managing project in HR outsourcing.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a MUST.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in managing projects related to Malaysia payroll, HR outsourcing, or international employment services.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software.
