Project Manager cum Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager cum Quantity Surveyor. This role involves managing various construction projects while also overseeing the cost management aspect through quantity surveying techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects.
3. Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
4. Monitor project progress, costs, and variations.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess work progress and quality.
6. Manage procurement activities and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
7. Provide advice on contractual matters and resolve disputes as they arise.
8. Prepare and submit progress reports and final accounts.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in project management and quantity surveying within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
4. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Knowledge of construction contracts and relevant regulations.
8. Candidate must be willing to work at No:7, Jalan Kempas Lama 1, Off, Jalan Kempas Lama, 81300 Johor Bahru, Johor.
9. 5.5 working days (Saturday half day, Friday Off).
