Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project professional, able to deliver complex business critical projects through all stages from concept to completion?

Victrex is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for Project delivery in our APAC region. We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong and demonstrable history of high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for defining the charter and strategy for the project or programme, implementing the project charter/strategy and the overall delivery of the project to cost, quality, timescale and successful completion.
• Create and drive the project schedule through key milestones and business gates, managing the effectiveness of the project team, identifying and managing risks, issues, and managing required changes to the plan, ensuring effective decision making throughout.
• Manage effective and timely communication to all stakeholders. Internally this would be up to Director level, Industry leaders, governance committees, programme and project teams and those impacted in the wider organisation, providing status reports and capturing issues and solutions. Externally this would be major OEMs and critical suppliers.
• Support the selection, appointment and management of 3^rd parties (consultants, vendors and contractors) in conjunction with Procurement.
• Support the continuing evolution of the Project Management Office through the delivery of expertise across the business and the development of supporting systems, procedures and tools.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Significant demonstrable experience of successfully managing complicated projects in a complex environment using developed knowledge of the project management process and high levels of coordination and organisation.
• Demonstrable effective written communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging at all levels of an organisation and with external parties.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to think conceptually and analytically and articulate to relevant stakeholders with varying levels of understanding.
