The position is responsible to drive, manage, and optimize the delivery of all Consumer Lines business initiatives & projects including onboarding new partners, execution of tactical initiatives, system implementation, insurance product launch, process enhancement and other project.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Plays an active role in all phases of the project lifecycle: feasibility, planning, analysis & design, development, testing and UAT (if required), and training.
Collaborates with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
Ensures project remains in-scope and meets budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
Manages the department strategic project and implementation road map.
Drives and executes projects and ensures internal and external stakeholders are informed of progress and dependencies. Develops collaborative relationships with stakeholders and partners to support Consumer Lines strategies and initiatives.
Develops and supports improvement to procedures/workflow between Consumer Lines, other departmental functional areas and distribution partners to reduce redundancy, establish consistency, and generate executional speed.
Ensures full compliance with Regulatory, PIAM, Chubb local and Global guidelines.
Any other project-related assignment deemed relevant.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate fields of study or equivalent working experience.
At least 7 years of working experience as a Project Manager in the Insurance/Financial industry.
Knowledge in Auto insurance in Malaysia is an advantage.
Strong hands-on experience in managing teams and project delivery.
Good understanding of the financial and/or insurance industry and knowledgeable in insurance systems and operational processes.
Solid working experience with business and supporting stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
Experience managing vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to look into the bigger picture, to understand and evaluate the cause and effect on the solution or decision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and networking. Computer literate especially MS Office, PowerPoint and Project Management tools.
Experience in business system analysis, technical and integration projects in the past is an advantage.
