Project Manager

Aleph is a creative engineering company comprised of a striking group of craftsmen specialised in strategy, design, technology, and marketing. We are looking for a qualified project manager to join our team who drives projects through from initial concept to delivery.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects, including site launches, online tools, web and mobile applications. You will work with a range of clients on several different projects and must be adept at managing and building client relationships and reporting on the status of projects.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a project manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver our projects’ digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Should be efficient in client and team management
• Should be a certified Scrum Master with relevant work experience
• Track record of leading teams and working on multiple scrum teams models
• Should have good understanding and experience in running agile teams using scrum methodology
• Should lead and run daily, weekly and other regular scrum ceremonies
• Ensures all agile ceremonies are run effectively, discipline is maintained, and participants are engaged
• Should work collaboratively with product owners to refine requirements in JIRA based on evolution of the user stories
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage quality expectations against deadlines and keep your team motivated under pressure
• Strong communication skills and experience in facilitation, reporting to stakeholder and team management
• Should take the lead in providing solutions and act as a mentor to the team and provide benefit to the clients
• Familiarity with web / mobile design and development processes and methodologies

Prerequisites

• A certified Project manager and 3+ years of work experience
• Experience or knowledge of Agile Methodologies
• Should be well versed with the design thinking process
• Usage of new tools and delivery methodologies is a must
• Must be able to work with multiple clients/projects with efficient mechanics of delivery management
• Strong communication skills and experience in facilitation
• Familiarity with responsive, adaptive or native design and mobile development processes
• Experience in Banking, Financial, Telecommunication Industry and exposure to Mobile Technologies is an added advantage
• At least 3 years of highly analogous and hands-on experience managing a software development team in platform or enterprise technologies
• Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus
• Technical expertise is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience directly managing people
• Required Skill(s): UI/UX, Project management, Agile, Application Delivery
