We are looking for a passionate candidate who shows a strong interest in career progress in Project Management to join our NetData Event Processing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) and attention to detail with a strong focus on planning, managing, and coordinating project tasks across teams as well as ensuring delivery within budget, timeline, and quality. As a Project Manager, you will perform project planning, coordinating and managing the team, as well as supporting all project deliverables to ensure timely delivery. Your role will be one of our key players in contributing to the success of our products/projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong passion for Project Management with Waterfall, SCRUM, AGILE methodology approaches and a growth mindset (willing to learn new things).
• Possess an inquisitive and analytical mind regarding your project work tasks.
• Ability to plan and coordinate complex project tasks within team members.
• Provide feedback proactively and support/help in solving project issues, together with team members and project stakeholders.
• Practice and encourage lessons learned/best practices/knowledge sharing in project management activities with team members. Contribute to audit compliance within project deliverables.
• Participate in second/third level day-to-day PROD operation support within our team products/applications and help plan/manage PROD issue prioritization with Business stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing their expectations and aligning well to minimize unnecessary escalations.
• Show strong interest in exploring/using AI technology to improve daily work efficiency and cost-effectiveness (e.g., automation).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience as a project manager, with at least 2-3 years of experience in leading projects. Experience in managing complex projects is preferred.
• Demonstrable knowledge in software development life cycle processes and project management experiences.
• Experience in Scrum & Agile software development project methodologies.
• Familiarity with Project Management tools such as Excel or Microsoft Project. Experience in managing JIRA and RTC tools is preferred.
• Detail-oriented personality with the ability to develop and communicate effectively with business and product stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills backed by conceptual and analytical thinking, and a systematic approach.
• Team player with good communication skills who fosters teamwork.

Hi, my name is Yew Keong and I’m the Team Manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2017, when I took over a role as Project Manager in the Reference Data team. Gaining hands-on experience in project management has always fascinated me, and I moved to the Labelling and Capability team as Senior Project Manager. From there, I moved quickly through the company ladder and soon landed a management role. In Mar-2024, I moved to a management position as Team Manager of Event Processing. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working toward our common ambition – Delivering Innovative and Scalable Software Solutions that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.
