Project Executive (QS) / Project Executive (M&E)

Required to perform quantity surveying / M&E duties necessary for the efficient operation of the office and to be based at HQ/branchers/other sites.

QS Responsibilities:

1. Handles and runs projects under close monitoring and supervision of Senior Assistant Technical Director/Assistant Technical Director/Senior Team Leader [SATD/ATD/STL].
2. Assists SATD/ATD/STL in day-to-day duties on all projects handled.
3. Attends all Project Coordination, Technical or Site Meetings of projects under their care.
4. Assists in preparation of final accounts, measurement of variations, measurement of Bills of Quantities.
5. Assists in preparation of Bills of Quantities allocated by SATD/ATD/STL/TL.

M&E Responsibilities:

• Analyzing M&E drawings.
• Taking-off quantities from M&E drawings.
• Preparing Bills of Quantities for M&E Scope.
• Preparing tender documents for M&E works.
• Evaluating claims and variations for M&E works.
• Finalizing accounts for M&E scope.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours):

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying / Degree in M&E Engineering or equivalent.
2. Preferably with proven track record in M&E documentation, estimating, and costing.
3. Sound knowledge of M&E/Building Services design criteria.
4. Relevant working experience in a Consultancy Firm or Contractor.
5. Independent and a self-starter.
6. Proficient in English and Bahasa. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
7. Minimum 2 years relevant working experience except for candidates with exceptional qualities.
