PROJECT EXECUTIVE / MANAGER, INTERIOR DESIGN

This candidate is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is an executive/senior role at an organization and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. We are seeking multi-skilled and highly capable candidates.

This position will be responsible for managing regular/ad hoc projects for both new and existing stores and maintenance management for existing outlets.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all project development from planning, execution to completion.
• Responsible for project interior design, including drawing.
• Responsible for project quotation and budget planning.
• Liaise with headquarters on new shop designing and ordering of furniture.
• Work with contractors on job completion within scheduled timeline and cost.
• Liaise with contractors and related authorities to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained on time, including submission of drawings and documents.
• Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to monitor project progress.
• Coordinate with contractors for all repair work.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Design and sign off on contracts.
• Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Participate in project processes, i.e., design, submission, and review.
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports.
• Conceptualize window displays and conduct frequent shop visits to ensure all displays are executed.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Building, Design, Creative Art or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in project management, preferably in Retail/Supermarket.
• Able to read building plans/drawings.
• Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, preferably SketchUp.
• Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willing to travel.
